Children's Privacy & COPPA Compliance

Tecto is designed for parents and caregivers to track their children's development. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") and similar international regulations regarding children's privacy.

  • All children's information is provided by and controlled by the parent or legal guardian.
  • Parents have full control over their children's data and can view, modify, or delete it at any time.

Child Information (Provided by Parents)

  • Child's first name (last name is optional)

Media Content

  • Photos, videos, and audio recordings you choose to upload

Data Retention & Deletion

Upon account deletion:

  • All personal and child data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Backup copies will be removed within 90 days
  • Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics
