To use Tecto, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Be a parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver of any children whose information you add to the Service
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use, please notify us immediately.

Tecto provides tools for parents and caregivers to track children's developmental progress, document activities, and receive age-appropriate activity recommendations.

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for its intended purpose of child development tracking
• Only add information for children for whom you have parental or guardian authority
• Keep your children's information accurate and up-to-date
• Respect the privacy of other family members you invite to the Service
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Add information about children without proper parental/guardian authority
• Share inappropriate, explicit, or harmful content
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operations
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including photos, videos, and journal entries ("User Content").

By uploading User Content, you grant Tecto a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your designated family members.

You represent that:

• You own or have the right to share all User Content you upload
• User Content does not violate any third party's rights
• You have consent from any individuals depicted in photos or videos

Tecto allows you to invite family members to view and contribute to your children's developmental records. As the primary account holder (Architect):

• You control who has access to your children's information
• You can set different permission levels for family members
• You can revoke access at any time
• You are responsible for ensuring invited members understand and respect the children's privacy

Important: Tecto is an educational and organizational tool, not a medical or therapeutic service.

• Activity recommendations are for general educational purposes only
• The Service does not provide medical, developmental, or therapeutic advice
• Developmental milestones and progress indicators are general guidelines, not diagnoses
• Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical or developmental concerns
• We do not guarantee specific developmental outcomes from using our Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tecto and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request deletion of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that you may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.
